The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is the Australian Government agency responsible for aged care regulation.

Its purpose is to protect and improve the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people receiving Australian Government-funded aged care services. The Commission's regulatory functions and the legislation and policies guiding them are set out on its own site, and it also handles complaints raised about aged care providers.
